(3) Use of Cookies:

  1. a) This website uses the following types of cookies, whose scope and functionality are explained below:
  • Transient cookies (see b)
  • Persistent cookies (see c).

b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. They store a so-called session ID, which allows various requests from your browser to be assigned to the common session. This enables your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser’s security settings.

(1) If you have given consent to the processing of your data, you can withdraw it at any time. Such a withdrawal affects the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data after you have expressed it to us.

(2) Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on a balancing of interests, you can object to the processing. This is the case if the processing is not necessary for the fulfillment of a contract with you, which will be explained by us in the following description of the functions. When exercising such an objection, we ask you to state the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done. In the event of your justified objection, we will examine the situation and either cease or adapt the data processing or demonstrate our compelling legitimate grounds on which we continue the processing.

(3) Of course, you can object to the processing of your personal data for advertising and data analysis purposes at any time.

(4) If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal or objection, an email to sales@tasteline21.de is sufficient.

5. Data Transfer

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

We only transfer your personal data to third parties if:

you have given your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, the transfer is necessary according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in the non-disclosure of your data, in the event that there is a legal obligation for the transfer according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR, and this is legally permissible and necessary according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the processing of contractual relationships with you.

6. Further Functions and Offers of Our Website

(1) In some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions, and are regularly monitored.

(2) Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called Web Fonts, provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the necessary Web Fonts into its browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. The fonts are located directly on our server. No connection to Google’s server takes place.

Third-party provider information: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, Fax: +353 (1) 436 1001. Terms of Use: developers.google.com/fonts/faq, Privacy Overview: google.com/intl/de/analytics/learn/privacy.html, and Privacy Policy: google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

(3) Integration of Google Maps

(3a) On this website, we use the Google Maps service. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently.

(3b) By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website. In addition, the data mentioned under § 3 of this declaration will be transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or if no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish for your data to be associated with your profile on Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research, and/or needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, for the exercise of which you must contact Google.

(3c) Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider can be found in the provider’s privacy policies. There you will also receive further information on your rights and setting options for protecting your privacy: google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

(4) Use of Social Media Plug-ins

(4a) We currently use the following social media plug-ins: LinkedIn. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our page, no personal data is initially transmitted to the plug-in providers. You can recognize the plug-in provider by the marking on the box with its initial letter or logo. We offer you the possibility to communicate directly with the plug-in provider via the button. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it, will the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offering. In addition, the data mentioned under § 3 of this declaration will be transmitted. In the case of Facebook and Xing, according to the respective providers, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection in Germany. By activating the plug-in, personal data from you is therefore transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (for US providers, in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects data primarily via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser’s security settings before clicking on the grayed-out box.

(4b) We have no influence on the data collected and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, or the storage periods. We also have no information regarding the deletion of collected data by the plug-in provider.

(4c) The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research, and/or needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users not logged in) to display needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, for the exercise of which you must contact the respective plug-in provider. Through the plug-ins, we offer you the opportunity to interact with social networks and other users, so that we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

(4d) Data transfer occurs regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider, your data collected by us will be directly assigned to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you press the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider will also store this information in your user account and publicly share it with your contacts. We recommend that you regularly log out after using a social network, especially before activating the button, as this can help you avoid an association with your profile at the plug-in provider.

(4e) Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider can be found in the privacy policies of these providers, which are communicated below. There you will also receive further information on your rights and setting options for protecting your privacy.

(5) Addresses of the respective plug-in providers and URLs with their privacy notices:

7. Data Security

During your visit to the website, we use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure in conjunction with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. This is usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we will instead resort to 128-bit v3 technology. You can recognize whether an individual page of our website is transmitted encrypted by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We employ appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
